Everything Changes

I was on the Greek's side at first, not until I read the Trojan War. Thinking that the Trojans at first, are nothing but brutal and savage people, only relying on the fact that the Roman gods and goddesses they worshiped cared for the power only, I loved and idolizes the Greeks. Then I came to the part of the book where an apple caused a war to erupt between the Greeks and Trojans.

I pitied the Trojans right then and there. A mistake made by Paris brought them to many sufferings, like the Trojan war. Both sides were known for their skills in combat, but what could they do? They were attacked in the middle of the night by the enemies. Aeneas and his family escaped, and for that I was relieved.

Having read the part where Aeneas found Rome, I was pleased. At last, after all those hardships that they faced because of the bitter goddess, they were able to find their own happiness and freedom. Saying that losing so many men is worth the new land is not the statement. It is really a great loss for him, but nothing could change the past, and nothing can changed the future as well, not even the gods and goddesses.
